About Topeka High School Historical Society

Our mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance the traditions and heritage of Topeka High School.

• MEMBERSHIP DUES AND YEAR END APPEAL funds are used for operating expenses of the THSHS.
• The THSHS TOWER SOCIETY was established in 2009 with funds used for preservation projects. The Tower Society fund is administered by the THS Historical Society board of directors. The list of donors is included in the newsletter annually.
• The THSHS ENDOWMENT was established in 2019 to sustain the operations of the Historical Society and to encourage building preservation. The endowment is administered by the Topeka Community Foundation.
• SPECIAL PROJECTS AND EVENTS funds are used for designated building projects and events (i.e. 150th celebration of Topeka High School, refurbishing of THS Teacher’s Cafeteria chairs)
